IVS Hypercardioid Planar Speaker

Our planar speakers built from passive cardioid elements. These speakers have great control over their vertical and horizontal directivity patterns. This technology increases the directivtiy furthermore at low and mid frequencies, which in result reduces reflections from different surfaces, feedbacks, and improve speech intelligibility with extended range of distance. The planar speaker design allows beam forming on both vertical and horizontal axis, therefore it is possible to focus the sound on a specific area, and minimise the side lobes. The IFS-3-H101 has a horizontal dispersion of 50° and vertical dispersion of 23° at 1 kHz. At low frequencies the directivity pattern is cardioid instead of the conventional spherical pattern.
