Founded in 1990, INTERTON Group designs, implements and maintains audio, lighting, staging, visual and control systems, and distributes AV products from leading manufacturers. Our history

  • 1967-1989

    At the development of the Budapest Electroacoustic Factory (BEAG), he develops several products with his colleagues Géza Balogh. They gain great professional knowledge and practice.

  • 1970-1989

    The result of developmental research work: patented acoustic equipment, acoustic systems in large numbers. Loudspeakers, microphones, surge suppressors, digital sound systems

  • 1980

    HTP 90 column speakers were installed in Luzsnyik Olimpic Stadion, Moscow

  • 1985-90

    A Cardioid studio monitors were installed in the Hungarian National Radio

  • 1989-1990

    The first PC controlled conference system installation in the Hungarian Parliament

  • 1990

    Géza Balogh defended his dissertation and founded Interton Kft. With some of his acoustic colleagues, including his wife.

  • 1991

    Dr. Géza Balogh PhD develops HOK series cardiod column speaker (first generation)

  • 1992-1993

    First acoustically monitored PA system installation at the Hungarian Nuclear Power Plant with more than 600 loudspeakers

  • 2005

    Dr. Géza Balogh PhD develops the DCR system, the first generation of digitally controlled, non-inline room acoustics enhancement system

  • 2005

    Installation of the DCR system in Kölcsey Congress Centre, Debrecen

  • 2007

    Installation of VSK series line source speaker in the Baroque Court

  • 2008-2011

    Dr. Géza Balogh PhD develops IVS series hypercardiod line source speaker (thrid generation)

  • 2010

    Kodály Centre, Pécs – the launch of third generation of high directivity line source speaker named IVS

  • 2011-2012

    Dr. Géza Balogh PhD develops the AURA system, the second generation of digitally controlled, non-inline room acoustics enhancement system

  • 2014

    Installation of a significant IVS system in the Keleti Railway Station, Budapest

  • 2017-2019

    We developed 2nd order cardioid loudspeakers and planar loudspeakers in the R&D project GINOP-2.1.7-15-2016-01023

  • 2019

    We applied to patent application with the results of our 2nd order cardioid development
