Streaming

In case of streaming, a computer or another device – which creates the stream – makes different kinds of data, for instance radio programmes available for end users. The intrested can get access to the data, lectures, which they can stop, fast forward or rewind any time.

Nowadays, they are mostly used to transmit digital contents, for example transmitting internet TV and radio programmes.
