Keleti Railway Station

Keleti railway station is the most important junction of the railway transport in Hungary. We have all experienced the huge cacophony of railway stations, so designing and installing the sound system that can provide good speech intelligibility in a remarkably noisy and echoing environment was a laborious task. We were also commissioned to connect the control of the sound system and the new passenger information system of the railway station. The sheer size of the station is illustrated best by the fact that its furthest amplified spot is 450 metres away from the central hub. To solve the task, we had to use all we have: our know-how, our computer modelling experience, and our special tools (e.g., patented IVS line speakers, a high-capacity network audio system).
