INTERTON Group Implements visual technology system of Eiffel Workshop
The INTERTON Group was commissioned to implement the complex audiovisual systems of the facility, which included the visual technology and Digital Signage systems. These systems fundamentally define the modernity, usefulness, and economical operations of the building, so the designing and implementation team of INTERTON Group had an important task.
The facility mostly houses theatrical rehearsals, but the technical standard of the implemented systems matches with those in theatres. The major feature of the complex is its multifunctionality, so the installed devices are mobile, flexible, and complex to meet any arising demand.
The video technology section includes three video projectors. The main projector (Christie) of the theatre hall has 25 000 ANSI Lumen intensity and WUXGA resolution. With this device, the projection as the main show element can be realised. The stage-set projector (Christie) has 17 400 Lumen intensity and WUXGA resolution, and it ensures the completion of visuals in various productions.
Besides, a 5 000 Lumen, WUXGA resolution projector (NEC) makes portable projections possible. An ultra-modern MacPro computer drives the projectors, which is conneted to an uninterruptible power supply. A framed AV Stumpfl portable projection screen completes both the main projector and the portable projector. Each projector has interchangeable lenses, so they can be put into various usage. Due to the diverse useability, each device is portable and fitted with a suspension frame, which gives multifunctionality to meet the demands of the facility.
A video studio is also part of the establishment, where productions and events can be recorded and edited. The studio is equipped with an ultra-modern Apple MacPro computer, various editing software, 4k monitors and an up-to-date sound and video card. Also, part of the system is a 4 by 1 metre, 2.6 mm pixel distance Expromo LED wall fitted above the forestage hole. It displays the subtitles of the performances. The LED wall is also mobile, so it can be used variedly.
The Digital Signage system is made up of a 2 by 2 metre, ultra narrow bezel LCD wall, LG Signage displays with built-in media players (Content Management System) fitted onto mobile stands, mobile projectors and a laptop to control them. With the help of the system, public information, advertisements, program guides can be shown.
The system also makes reorganising the content, setting the order and timing of the footages and controlling the display devices remotely possible.
The INTERTON Group has over thirty years of audiovisual system building experience, and worldwide high-tech devices distributed by the group and using its own patents guarantee reasonable price/value for its clients. We are sure that the systems of the Eiffel Műhelyház will help the work of operators and artists for years to come.
